Playmaze is a permanent exhibit at the new Chicago Children's Museum. The exhibit was designed by architect Peter J. Exley. This is a screen shot from the interactive program installed in two kiosks at the exhibit. The program is designed for children one to six and lets them make their own birthday party. They get to select cake shapes, icing, decorations and even the number of candles they want. The user is rewarded with a group of children singing "Happy Birthday" while the whole screen comes alive with color and animation.
